Doctor says I can't go bping until Spring

Was in the hospital for a week, then a rehab facility, had banged my head enough I guess with my truck door to cause bleeding in my skull. Helicopter ride from N CA to Reno, NV. Cut it open to drain, 40 staples later, I'm home after three weeks. Can't drive either. Have good neighbors who let me ride to town with them and took care of my seven month old pup while I was away. Can't do anything, thought I could car camp, but then recalled I couldn't drive. Stuck, sucks.

May I ask, how does one bang their head with a truck door so seriously? Did it accidently close on you or did someone accidently slam it on you? Anyways, I wish you a speedy and full recovery!

I was loading my truck for a stovie camping trip at Diamond Lake in Oregon. I seem to tend to look down too much and I looked at the front door of my Access cab Tacoma and the door angles back. If that is where I hit my head, I was too close for it to swing clear. Thank you for the kind words.

So, where are you going in the Spring?

Don't know where I'll go come Spring. Maybe the valley with friends. Walking faster yesterday. I wanted to hit the Ansel Adams Wilderness after I left the nursing facility, but the doctor put the kaboosh on that.

Doctor changed his tune after seeing an assistant of his nine days ago, removed all restrictions. Been driving and have been on two one night o/n bping trips. Off to the Susan River later next week with some friends, mtb trip for a few nights.
