Another way we were

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Why are you fishin' in a storm drain?

It was a Pike. Lake Minnetonka had other large examples which I caught but had no camera on the boat, but after my Great Aunt died, we didn't go back to visit again.. I would spend 2 months there almost every Summer.

I do still wonder where all the hair went. :p

After a certain age, it seems hair succumbs to gravity as well. You know, disappears from above just to sprout lower? I have braids down my.....nevermind.

Thanks for that visual Jim, will never look at you the same. :D

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

One benefit of being near Lake Minnetonka was it actually had the Tonka factory there. I did a few tours there. And the thunder and lightning storms were magnificent.

I could also do a mean gingerbread farm back then :derp: .
