Weak upper level ridge will bring us fair skies and dry conditions on Monday and Tuesday. Cold air moving in and a strong upper jet over Northern California will give both the High Country and the Owens Valley locally breezy to windy conditions for at least the next few days. Crest top gusts could reach 60 - 70 mph today.

Today for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies. North wind 10 -15 mph with gusts of 25 mph in the afternoon. High temperatures in the upper 70s and evening temps in the low 40s.

Today for Mammoth and the Mono Valleys: Sunny and breezy. West wind 15 - 25 gusting to 40 in town and 60+ mph over the Crest. High temperature range 52 - 62 and evening lows 22 - 32.

Tuesday for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies once again. Northwest wind 10 - 15 mph. Daytime temperatures in the mid 70s and evening lows in the upper 30s.

Tuesday for Mammoth and the Mono Valleys: Mostly sunny and continued breezy. Northwest wind 10 - 20 gusting to 50 mph over the Crest. High temps 50 - 60 and evening lows 20 - 29.

Strong shortwave impulse will track across Northern California on Wednesday and bring the High Country a chance of precipt and snow showers on Wednesday into Thursday morning. This storm will have a cold and unstable air mass and should move quickly over and through the upper elevations.
