Forecast for Mammoth & the Owens Valley

A weak trough with considerable mid and high level sub tropical moisture remains over our area. Mild temps and the possibility of showers and thunderstorms over the Crest and High Country will persist through at least Saturday.

Today for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Mostly cloudy conditions with high temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s and lows in the mid 40s. Light wind becoming southeast 10 - 15 mph in the afternoon.

Today for Mammoth and the Mono Valleys: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and T-storms in the afternoon. Daytime temperature range 55 - 65 and evening lows 33 - 42. Southeast wind 10 mph.

Friday for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Partly sunny with plenty of high clouds. Daytime temperatures in the upper 70s/low 80s and evening lows in the mid 40s. Light wind becoming southeast wind 10 - 15 mph in the evening.

Friday for Mammoth and the Mono Valleys: Mostly cloudy with a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperature range 58 to 68 and lows 32 - 42. Northwest wind 10 - 15 mph.

Continued chance of shower and thunderstorm activity, particularly in the High Country into Sunday, then as of right now, it looks like dry conditions on Monday and Tuesday.
