Slightly warmer today as yesterday we saw high temperatures of 83 degrees in Bishop and Lone Pine. This is 10 degrees or so above seasonal norms. The ridge over the West Coast will stay in tack today and then be undercut by a weak low pressure system, with some sub-tropical moisture, on Wednesday into Thursday. We should see a few afternoon mountain showers and possible T-storm activity in the High Country on Wednesday and Thursday evening with high clouds over the Owens Valley along with slightly cooler temps.

Today for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80s and lows in the lower 40s. Northwest wind 10 - 15 mph in the afternoon.

Today for Mammoth and the Mono Valleys: Mostly sunny and slightly warmer. Southwest wind 10 - 15 mph in the afternoon. Daytime temperature range 60 to 70 and lows 30 - 40.

Tomorrow for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Partly sunny turning mostly cloudy in the evening. Slightly cooler with daytime temperatures in the upper 70s and evening lows in the lower 40s. Southeast wind 10 - 15 mph in the afternoon.

Tomorrow for Mammoth and the Mono Valleys: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of snow showers in the afternoon. Snow level remains high at 8,500 feet. Temperature range 55 to 65 and lows 23 - 33. Southwest wind 10 - 15 mph.

Friday will see a Rex Block forming over the West Coast as high pressure strengthens, giving our area dry and even warmer conditions through the weekend. Temps once again will be about 10 degrees above normal for this period.
