Forecast for Mammoth & the Owens Valley

Broadcast Times 12:30pm & 5:30pm M - F

Strong ridge over California will flatten slightly today but temps will remain well above normal, so possible records temperatures are expected. Generally sunny skies will continue today and tomorrow with a few high level clouds overhead.

Today for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies and possible record high temperatures once again. Daytime temperatures in the low 80s and evening lows in the lower 40s. Northwest wind 10 mph.

Today for Mammoth: Clear blue skies and breezy. Temperature range 60 - 70 and lows 20 - 30. West wind 10 - 15 gusting to 55 mph over the Crest.

Tomorrow for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Mostly sunny and a little cooler with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 30s. Northwest wind 10 -15 mph.

Tomorrow for Mammoth: Clear skies. Daytime temperature range 60 - 70 and evening lows 21 - 31. Light wind.

High pressure will strengthen starting tomorrow giving us dry conditions and above normal temperatures through Monday of next week. Possible upper level low to move into our area Tuesday, cooling things down a bit.
