Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Today for Mammoth: Partly cloudy. Temperature range 50 - 60 and lows 20 - 30. Southwest wind 10 - 15 gusting to 30 mph in town and 50 over the Crest.

Tomorrow for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the upper 30s. Light wind.

Tomorrow for Mammoth: Partly cloudy. Temperature range 55 - 65 and evening lows 25 - 35. Southwest wind 10 mph.

An upper level ridge of high pressure will build in strongly on Sunday, bringing warming temps and dry conditions. Near record temperatures will be possible on Sunday and Monday. Ridge flattens on Tuesday as an upper level disturbance moves across the norther portion of our state, bringing more clouds and cooling temps.

All this warm weather. Wish we could get another good dump (low elevations included) before Old Man Winter calls it quits.
