Forecast for Mammoth & the Owens Valley

Broadcast Times 12:30pm & 5:30pm M - F

The upper low continues to move east with a few shortwave impulses sliding down its backside, causing some mid and high level clouds to appear in the Owens Valley and giving a chance of isolated snow showers to Mammoth and the High Country.

Today for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Mostly sunny with highs in the low 50s and lows in the mid 20s. North wind 10 - 15 mph.

Today for Mammoth: Partly cloudy with a chance of isolated snow showers. Temperature range 30 - 40 and lows 5 - 15. West wind 10 - 15 gusting to 45 mph over the Crest.

Tomorrow for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny with highs in the upper 50s and lows in the upper 20s. North wind 10 - 15 mph.

Tomorrow for Mammoth: Partly cloudy. Temperature range 30 - 40 and evening lows 5 - 15. Northwest wind 10 - 15 gusting to 35 mph over the Crest.

We can expect an upper level ridge to build in on Friday through Saturday giving us generally dry conditions and warming temperatures as well. That ridge begins to flatten on Sunday and by Tuesday and Wednesday we could see some moisture back in our area.
