Anyone following that 'other' forum?

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Anyone following that 'other' forum?

Post by dave54 »

Bpbasecamp?

I only occasionally lurk there because there is seldom anything of value, and the political section has been hijacked by some real kooky left wingnuts. Lately, though, the asylum inmates have really gone far out with conspiracy theories that would make Weekly World News proud. I do not know whether I am entertained, disgusted, or my intelligence insulted.

And you bring that up here because...?
Check our our website: http://www.backpackthesierra.com/

Thank you for this recommendation.
I went there and hope to get in touch with one of their members.

Regardless of your warning I dared to post in their political subforum and my post was deleted without any explanation. :(

I took a look over there, and my god the bias is unbelievable.

And quite militant and intolerant of anyone that disagrees. Seems like they really need a safe space.
