Cougars | High Sierra Topix

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Just saw on FOX about a poor guy getting beat up by a mountain lion. Sad. Like I always say,'There's too many predators out there". You cull the predators and their population is better off in the long run. As an added bonus, their prey populations [dogs, cats, deer ,people, etc.] rebound sufficiantly to the point where there are more prey for the predator.
