Owens Valley / Mammoth Weather Forecast

Forecast Specialist for the Sierra Wave 92.5 / 96.5 FM
The strong upper level ridge currently over California will stay in place today bringing with it clear skies and above normal temperatures.
Today for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny blue skies with high temperatures in the mid 60s and low temps in the mid 20s. Light wind.
Today for Mammoth: Clear skies. High temps in the low 50s and low temps around 16. Light wind.
Tomorrow for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies again with high temps in the lower 60s and lows in the mid 20s. Wind light and variable.
Tomorrow for Mammoth: Sunny and clear turning partly cloudy in the evening. Daytime temps in the lower 50s and evening temps around 17. Wind light and variable.
A very weak upper level low will try to move thru our area late Thursday and into the weekend creating partly cloudy skies and a slight cooling trend. There may be a chance of a shower of two in Mammoth and the High Country with dry conditions continuing in the Owens Valley.
