Owens Valley / Mammoth Weather Forecast

Forecast Specialist for the Sierra Wave 92.5 / 96.5 FM


An upper level ridge of high pressure will build in over the region today and bring with it reduced winds, dry conditions and a gradual warming trend.

Today for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny blue skies with decreasing wind. High temperatures in the lower 50s and lows about 20. Northwest wind 10 mph.

Today for Mammoth: Clear skies. High temps in the upper 30s and lows around 15. North wind 10 mph in town gusting to 60 over the Crest.

Tuesday for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies again with high temps in the upper 50s with lows in the mid 20s. Wind light and variable.

Tuesday for Mammoth: Sunny and clear with daytime temps in the lower 40s and evening temps around 17. Wind light and variable.

The high amplitude west coast ridge will continue to park itself over California until at least Friday creating dry conditions and warming temperatures.
