The current closed low over Mammoth will slide on south today and will be replaced by an upper level ridge by Friday, giving the High Country and the Owens Valley clearing skies. Temps on Wednesday in Mammoth will remain cold, barely raising above freezing during the day and zero at night, with a chance of scattered snow showers, so if you have any brass monkeys get them in the house tonight.

Today for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Partly sunny with high temperatures in the mid 40s and lows in the mid teens. Northwest wind 10 - 15 mph.

Today for Mammoth: Partly cloudy and cold with a slight chance of snow showers. Wind becoming gusty to 50 mph over the Crest and 15 - 20 mph in town. High temps in the low 30s and nighttime temps at zero.

Tomorrow for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies with high temps in the lower 50s and lows in the mid teens. Northwest wind 10 - 15 mph.

Tomorrow for Mammoth: Blue bird skies with gusty conditions over the Crest to 60 mph. Continued cold with High temps in the mid 30s and low temps around zero once again.

An amplified West Coast ridge builds in on Friday and remains through the mid part of next week, giving our area dry conditions and gradually raising temperatures to near normal.
