Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Tomorrow for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Another sunny day is in store for us with light winds. Daytime temps will be in the low 60s and evening temps in the mid 20s.

Tomorrow for Mammoth: Sunny with high temps in the mid 50s and lows in the upper teens. Light winds during the day increasing to 15 - 20 mph after midnight.

A Polar low will move over Central and Southern California Thursday into Friday, bringing with it very cold temperatures and lowering snow levels in both Mono and Inyo Counties. Snow levels could drop to the valley floor, late Thursday night into Friday morning. This low should move eastward on Saturday and Sunday.
