Sketchbook - 2015

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Thanks markskor.

Your style and art medium really conveys the austere and noble beauty of the Sierra Nevada landscape.

I've been meaning to message you and tell you how much I appreciate your work. My lady as well sends her praise. You make our minds alive with memories of these places. I am greatly interested in purchasing some of your art if you would ever part with any of them. You also remind me of a time when I worked in Yosemite valley and had a good friend who was oil landscape painter. Somehow a bunch of us would also end up carrying up his "supplies" and spend an afternoon or a morning playing around a dome or some vantage point. He would appreciate your work greatly. really enjoy them all.
