Owens Valley / Mammoth Weather Forecast

Forecast Specialist for the Sierra Wave

Low pressure is moving east over southwest Arizona today, with high pressure building into our area through Thursday mid-day. This will create generally clear skies and light to moderate winds.

Today for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies with high temps in the mid 40s and evening temps in the upper teens. Northwest wind 10 – 15 mph.

Today for Mammoth: Clear and cold. Afternoon temps will be in the mid 20s with lows around zero. West winds 10 – 15 mph.

Tomorrow for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Clear skies and slightly warmer with high temps in the lower 50s and evening temps in the upper teens. Light wind.

Tomorrow for Mammoth: Partly cloudy with daytime temps in the mid 30s and evening temps in the upper single digits. Southwest winds 10 – 15 mph.

A quick moving low will slide into California late Thursday into Friday, increasing the chance of light snow in Mammoth and the High Country on Thursday afternoon and evening. The Owens Valley will see a slight chance of rain on Thursday night.
