Passing impulses today will create a slight chance of precipt in the Valley and a dusting in the High Country. Then a mid level ridge builds in on Wednesday for dry weather.

Tuesday for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Partly sunny with highs in the low 50s / lows in the mid 20s. Light wind.

Tuesday for Mammoth: Mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 40s / lows in the low 20s. There will be a chance of snow at 7,000 feet. Winds will be gusty at times over the Crest to +50 mph.

Wednesday for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Mostly clear with highs in the mid 50s / lows in the mid 20s. Light wind.

Wednesday for Mammoth: Partly cloudy with high temps in the low 50s / lows in the mid teens. Winds will be gusty to 30 mph in the afternoon.

An upper level shortwave is due in on Thursday night into Friday creating another slight chance of precipt. The models are still showing a deep upper level trough due in on Saturday night into Sunday, with very cold air and quite a bit of moisture. Snow levels in our area could be down to the Valley floor on Saturday night. Temps with this trough will be at least 10 degrees below normal.
