Owens Valley / Mammoth Weather Forecast

Clear skies are developing over our area as the low pressure that brought snow to the High Country over the weekend heads east. Shortwave will pass through to our north on Tuesday bringing a few clouds and mostly dry conditions to the Valley and a 20% change of precipt Mammoth north.

Monday for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 50s / lows in the low 20s. Light wind.

Monday for Mammoth: Partly cloudy with highs in the mid 40s / lows 15 to 20F. Winds will be gusty at times over the Crest to +35 mph.

Tuesday for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Mostly clear with highs in the mid 50s / lows in the mid 20s. Light wind.

Tuesday for Mammoth: Mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of rain/snow at 7,500 feet. High temps will be in the low 40s / lows 10 to 15F. Winds will be gusty over the Crest to +50 mph.

Flat ridge builds in on Wednesday through Friday. Shortwaves passing to our north will bring partly cloudy skies on/off through the period. The models are now showing and much colder, wetter and focused period of unsettled weather developing by the weekend. Stay tuned for updates.
