Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

I spoke with Mike over the phone a few days ago....he had been back to the hospital for another round of trying to fix his knee replacement. While in the hospital Mike suffered a stroke. He could really use some encouragement and your prayers.

This came as a shock!

My prayers are also going out for Mike.

Wow.....totally unexpected! Mike can't be that old; I don't know how old he is but I always assumed he was in his late 30's-early 40's? This has got to be tough for his family, and just before the holidays doesn't help.

Thanks for the update WW, and for passing on our sentiments, thoughts, and prayers.

WOW. Why can't this guy catch a break? It's high time he recovers and comes back here. The place just isn't the same without him! :\

Get better soon, buddy...
