The high pressure ridge that has been over the Eastern Pacific will stay in place until about Wednesday. This will continue to give our area dry and stable conditions.
Tuesday for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies with high temps in the upper 50s. Evening temps will be in the mid teens. Winds will be light and variable out of the northwest, 10-15 mph.
Tuesday for Mammoth: Mostly clear with afternoon temps in the mid 50s. Nighttime temps will be in low teens, winds will be light and variable.
Wednesday for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Clear, with afternoon temps in the upper 50s, light wind at 10 mph. Evening temps will see the mid teens.
Wednesday for Mammoth: Daytime temps will be in the mid 50s and evening temps will be in the low teens. Winds from the southwest 10-15 mph.
An active and moist pattern still forecast to begin Friday night, but now it looks like the initial storm track will have a more northerly flow. Friday night’s trough pushes into northern California with a chance of precipt from Tahoe north. Sunday looks like a better chance of mountain rain/snow showers in the Mammoth area. Exact timing and track of these systems still in doubt as of now, so stay tuned.
