Where not to park your rental boats..

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Where not to park your rental boats..

A friend who lives in South Lake Tahoe was at the Beacon the other day for dinner during the start of this latest storm. Two rental ski boats were moored just off shore. He captured a couple pictures of the "surf" coming in on the boats.

They both sank.

Glad it's not my boat.. The fines alone for cleanup might be more than the boats cost.

I think other than the Great Lakes, we have the only fresh water Coast Guard station.
