Owens Valley weather forecast
provided by Dennis Mattinson,
Forecast Specialist for the Sierra Wave
& Fort Independence EPA Met Station

The cold air mass in still in place over Central California, and the surface high over Utah will not begin to weaken until later today. This means the Owens Valley will have one more night of very cool temperatures. We can expect a slight warming trend starting on Saturday as that high continues to weaken.

Today: Bishop and the Owens Valley can expect clear skies and light winds. High temps will be in the mid 50s and lows will be in the upper teens.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny with a northwest wind 10-15 mph. High temps will be in the upper 50s and lows will be in the mid 20s.

Dry conditions will prevail through Monday with temperatures rebounding to near seasonal levels by mid week.
