FORECAST 11.28.06

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Fort Independence EPA Met Station

EPA Site No: 06-027-1028

All:

Discussion: A rather cold, dry air mass has settled into our area and I expect evening temps around 0 degrees in the High Country and in the teens for the Owens Valley.

Today: Mostly sunny with winds N 10 - 20 mph; temps mid 40s / mid teens.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny with winds N 10 - 15 mph; temps mid 40s / upper single digits.

Outlook: Skies to remain mostly clear and temps to remain cold as a dry air mass prevails at least through Friday.
