Thieves Ransack / Loot MTR, Florence Store, Other Buildings

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

More is required than is listed under those 4 points. Even though I don't really understand what number one even means.

Number 2 is a contradiction of the law. They say you have to have a good reason to require protection in a situation that the police cannot protect you. But the law specifically states that the police have no obligation to protect you at all. They aren't even required to respond to your 9/11 call.

I don't want to spin this any further off topic but I will say I have no intention of even trying to get a CCW even with the fact that Kern Country issues more than most any other in the state.
