expand your horizons

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

expand your horizons

Post by dave54 »

A free 4 week long course in hunting and conservation issues. Not in the Sierra Nevada, but the questions and issues raised can be applied anywhere.
It's the middle of winter so you will have the time without cutting into your outdoor activities.

it might be a nice course near the great white north. None of the teachers know anything about the Sierra environment, so i guess i'm challenging your assumption. For instance, a whitetail environment is way different than a columbia blacktail or muley environment.

I was almost immediately turned off by them all being PHD. Unless one of them is elbow deep in a carcass, probably not a course for me. (Maybe that's further into the course ;) )

And what does "hunter curious" mean? That just sounds wrong.
