All:

Discussion: Dry shortwave currently building over central CA giving us mostly clear skies through Friday. Fast moving upper shortwave trough progged to cross northern Ca on Saturday, giving us a chance of precipt and flurries in the upper elevations. Rain shadow effect from the Sierra Crest will most likely keep the Owens Valley dry.

Today: Generally clear skies with minor amounts of Sierra Crest cumulus and light variable winds. Temps - upper 60s / upper 20s.

Tomorrow: Sunny with light winds. Temps - upper 60s / low 30s.

Outlook: Fast paced shortwave trough due in Saturday AM and exiting Saturday PM giving us some mid level clouds and increased winds in the Valley and possible flurries in the upper elevations. Clouds increasing overnight Sunday into Monday with mountain showers/flurries possible in the upper elevations of the Sierra.
