FORECAST 11.07.06

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Thanks Dennis for regularly posting each day's weather report here in the forum, much appreciated.

Looks like the first serious winter storms will be pushing south into California next week just like usually happens in November. In a couple weeks all the bare rock and trees we've been looking at since the melt last spring will all just be a summer memory. ...David

SSSdave:

I am glad you find the forecasts useful. And yes, things are goingto start changing rapidly in the High country. But, today in Independence it was 81F, believe it or not.
