Discussion: Dirty ridge to continue to build in today, with high level cirrus, then weaken on Tuesday night. Slightly above normal temps on Tuesday, then cooler temps on Wednesday as another trough enters our area.

Today: Sunny skies in the High Country and Owens Valleys with copious amounts of cirrus overhead. Owens Valley; low 70s / low 40s, light winds. High Country; mid 60s / mid 20s, light winds.

Tomorrow: Sunny skies and slightly warmer. High Country; upper 60s / lower 30s, winds NW 10-15mph. Owens Valley: mid 70s / mid 40s, winds NW 10-15mph.

Outlook: Cooler Wednesday as a low moves north of our area. Chance of scattered showers over the Crest Wednesday PM. Thursday/Friday a shortwave ridge builds in for generally dry weather.

At Onion Valley Fri night it was 35 deg.

At North Lake Sat night it was 37-38 deg.

I didn't check daytime temps.

I was at Onion Valley this afternoon and it as an amazing 64.2 F. Independence was 79F! Tomorrow will be even warmer.

I wore a tank top with the arm warmers during the day (Sat), and did not need the jacket at all. I started off with a light capilene but that came off in the first 10 min. :)
