SEKI - Wilderness Stewardship Plan

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

I just wanted to bump this up since the comment period closes on August 25.

Hi all.

I downloaded the documents last night and skimmed through them figuring I would finish up the following evening when I had the time. This evening, I typed up my comments and went to the public submission page. It was CLOSED!!! It's still the 25th here in California. Was it eastern standard time? Is there any way I can still comment on this or has the pack train left the trail head figuratively and my comments will never be seen? When it said August 25th, I thought I had until midnight to submit my comments. I am really upset about this. The comments button should have been open until midnight. Does anyone know if there will be another chance to submit anything? Is there any way I can still do that given it closed early?
