Sierra Word Associations

What are the first places in the Sierra that pop into your mind, without thinking, when
you read the following words:

Mountain/Peak/Dome/Range: Devil's Crags

Lake: Bench Lake

Meadow: Simpson Meadow

River: Kings River

Fish: Golden Trout

Hell: Kendrick Canyon/Lower Goddard Creek

Trees: White Mountain

Remote: Enchanted Gorge

Flowers: High Trail (Minarets)

Rock: McGee Canyon/Goddard Creek

Falls: Silver Spray Falls

Basin: Kaweah Basin

Lake: Virginia Lake (Yose)

Meadow: Whitesides meadow

River: Tuolumne

Fish: Brook Trout, but i'll do goldens

Hell: Salt Springs res East with the snakes

Trees: Somewhere in the Trinity Alps

Remote: No Answer; after two days in it's all remote.

Flowers: No Answer; i like snow flowers though

Rock: Anything that is 2 thousand feet taller than where i stand

Falls: Glen Aulin

Basin: French

You left off bugs, snails and fresh-water clams.

Virgina Lake? Would have bet it was going to be P, HB, or M Lake! :\
Flowers, Whitesides Meadow has fields of Lupine and Mules Ears, and can be one of the
best shows for wildflowers gardens in the Sierra.

V lake is my desktop background. Whitesides was a great memory as it was truly white when i hiked through it under a foot of snow in August in the early 80's.

they are memorable.
