Yosemite from the Air

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Yosemite from the Air

Post by kd6swa »

I recently had to make a business trip to Los Angeles and snapped this as we were flying down the central valley. You can see the relation of the Valley with Half dome and Mono lake in the background.

Bob,

Thanks for the pictures! We just got back from northern Deso. There was almost NO SNOW! :( :( :(

This is going to be a dry year!

I hope you and yours had fun in So. Cal!
