Don't feed the animals...

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Earlier this year in Yosemite Valley I saw this sign posted on the tables all around. I understand the intentions of the park service - which are all good and I am a stern advocate of not feeding animals so I hate to poke fun - but I really got a kick out of this: all the salt, fat, and preservatives in human food makes animals fat and lose hair:
