All:
Short Term…Portions of a weak upper low snuck over the Crest yesterday kicking of isolated showers but no reported lightning strikes. There should be some cumulus buildup this afternoon and possible isolated T-Storms, but the main energy associated with that low is no longer much of a factor. Otherwise, mostly sunny to partly cloudy today and Thursday with little change in temp. The High Country should see daytime temps in the upper 60s and lows in the mid 30s. The Owens Valley will have highs in the low 80s and nighttime temps in the mid 40s.
Long Term…Friday through Sunday, the west coast ridge begins to break down, lowering temps slightly and increasing clouds and winds on Sunday. A fairly potent upper low could begin to influence our area by the middle of next week; will have to monitor closely to see just what affect it will have.
