All:

Short Term…Monday and Tuesday will see generally dry conditions, clear skies and some afternoon cumulus build up. Afternoon temps in the Owens Valley will be in the low 80s today and tomorrow with lows in the mid 40s. The High Country (8,000 feet) will have evening temps in the mid 20s and daytime temps in the mid 60s.

Long Term…A Rex Block pattern off the west coast will give us a southwesterly flow and mostly clear skies through the week. We can expect a slight warming trend through Saturday with the High Country seeing daytime temps in the upper 60s/low 70s. Some afternoon cumulus can be expected over the crest. The Owens Valley will have high temps in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 40s.

Sounds like great weather for next weekend. I'm looking forward to heading up 395.

DMATT, Thanks, keep em coming. I am heading up to Cottonwood Lakes, Langley and Miter Basin 10/4 for a few days solo and I like the way the weather is shaping up.
