Show yourself!

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Me and my hiking buddy Mousie on Pinchot Pass this summer. 10 years we've been doing this together now.

Hey Guys!

Long time backpacker / Mtneer. Happy to join. but honestly I'm just here for selfish reasons to pick y'alls brains!

Photo of me on Mt. Sill. Free Solo'd the Swiss Arete Route.... yeah not what I was going for but that's what happened. Hit me up sometime and I'll give you the gory details of my "AMAZING" route finding ability.

Can wait to chat with you guys!

Probably should add this pic from our group hike a couple years ago up Mission Peak:

And a new one of me at Christmas after I shaved the beard that does shed a few years from this old guy. And no I still don't have much grey hair:

Wow, what a field of wildflowers! I am a sucker for asters and that looks like aster heaven.

This is me from a trip in the Ogilvie Mountains, Yukon.

I do get the best sleeping bag though. All the best, Bear.

Bear looks like a combination of my Bella and my previous dog Cisco.

We started Bella out with a pack, when she was young, but it definitely slowed her down and most trips we ended up carrying it ourselves. So we stopped that.

First time I put a pack on Cisco he looked up at me and said, "Really?" He literally wold not move from the spot until I removed the pack. That was the end of that experiment.
Nunc est bibendum.
