< Note: There will be no weather report on 22 Sep / I will be out of the office on business.>

Short Term…A strong area of low pressure will remain over the west central U.S. through Saturday. This will result in dry conditions and below normal temps for the Owens Valley and High Country. The Owens Valley can expect daytime temps to be in the low 80s and evening temps in the mid 40s through Saturday. The High Country will see highs in the mid 50s and lows in the upper teens through the forecast period. Moderate NW winds expected in the High Country today and Friday, 15-20 mph.

Long Term…Saturday night through Wednesday, ridging will begin to build in, giving us dry conditions and a slight warming trend through the period. The Owens Valley can expect mostly clear skies and daytime temps in the upper 80s with lows in the upper 40s by Wednesday. The High Country (8,000 feet) will see mostly clear to partly cloudy skies with evening temps in the upper teens/low 30s and daytime temps in the upper 50s. Again, moderate NW winds expected each day through the forecast period.
