Glovebox map - Winter reading

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Glovebox map - Winter reading

Post by kd6swa »

I had an old Highway 395 recreation map that was getting too fragile to open for fear of loosing some of it and just picked up one to replace it. "Hwy 395 Carson City to Lone Pine Eastern Sierra Recreation Map by Benchmark maps. I know everybody has their favorites but for $6 this is a good one to keep behind the truck seat, in the glovebox, or just in the Den to plan out your next Sierra adventure. Look for them the next time you stop for gas ( saw them at a Shell station in Mammoth Lakes) or visit places like Sheels over in Sparks. Enjoy!
