All:

Short Term…The upper level trough that increased our winds yesterday afternoon and this morning will be moving east today. High pressure will build in over the eastern pacific and produce a dry, stable northwest flow over the Owens Valley through tomorrow. A mild warming trend is expected today and Thursday with valley daytime temps in the upper 80s today and low 90s Thursday. The High country can expect afternoon temps in the mid 50s with breezy conditions today and for Thursday, daytime temps in the upper 50s with reducing winds.

Long Term…A large trough will deepen over the western U.S. Friday and Saturday. Thus, a slight cooling trend is expected with daytime temps a few degrees below normal. For Sunday, there will be a continuation of pleasant below normal temps with southwest breezes.
