Swiss Alps

Post by BSquared »

Hi, All,

We recently returned from a three-week trip on the "Walker's Haute Route" in the Swiss Alps, from Chamonix (France) to Zermatt. I'll get off my butt and put up a trip report and some pictures when I can find the time, but I thought I'd at least mention it (partly to reassure my friends on this board that I'm still alive ;) and say briefly that it was (a.) awesome, (b.) utterly unlike any mountain trip I've done before, and (c.) expensive, even making all the arrangements ourselves.

Later!

Great ! Looking forward to the trip report, especially how the Alps might be different from the Sierra.
