Banana Peak 7.5 months later

SnowDude went with me to dayclimb Banana Peak. On Memorial Day 2009, I was attacked by a trusted friend at the end of this hike. I'm living with PTSD and trying to get my life back. The man who attacked me is not the man I knew, and since I was able to talk to him after I woke up (I thought I was dead), I am able to forgive him. My therapist in Australia had me make a list of things at home that would cause anxiety. I checked off a few this weekend looking for closure.

Recovery from what you experienced is I'm sure going to be a long, and difficult row to hoe. Good to see you are facing your fears, moving forward and staying strong.

Oh, and more Sierra trip reports, plz. I've been going through withdrawal since you started your extended stays Down Under!

I missed the initial news, but got filled in last summer. I have no idea what you are going thru, I would offer more support, but I don't want to crowd you. Good and happy thoughts your way Cori. I hope you can work this all out, such a pretty, young lady, someone who is a great person with a great personality. I describe you to people as someone who always has a smile on their face.
