TomG had not done this (finally, something new for him!), and when I was there in Dec,
I couldn't find the register (buried in deep snow). You can see the Winnedumah Piute Monument
in the middle of the skyline.

Cool little Horned Lizard. Saw two snakes but hey were too fast for the camera

A lot of it was on an old mining road, with great views of the Sierra

Beautiful Claret

After a little cross country hiking, finally, Winnedumah!

TomG looking for the register, these rocks are huge!

There's the register behind us

And there's the 80' Winnedumah Piute Monument with the register below

We went back a different way, which took us thru some interesting boulders
(photo borrowed from TomG)

We got a little excited when we saw an old mining road across the gully. It was only
a natural rock wall but there were 3 sections, so it looked like a road.

TomG drove to our starting point and I left the FJ on Mazourka Cyn Road. This was
my first weekend driving it (manual) again.

Working on it! I used poles and carried more water than I've been, last weekend on my biggest hike since surgery. Had foot/arch pain and pain in rib, both on left side. Chiro got rid of the pain. We'll see how I do this weekend! :D

Feels good to drive my truck again!
