Pyramid Peak (6,703') in the Funeral Mountains

Post by wingding »

Yesterday, I hiked to Pyramid Peak in Death Valley National Park. It was beatiful, but windy out there. Here are some pictures I took:

That was the first hike I did with BobR, and the first of the "must do" desert peaks I was given. Pretty awesome views and beautiful colors in the rock! A friend found a geocache up there, but I didn't take the time to look for it.

The colors are just beautiful along the hike to Pyramid - I can see why it's a "must do hike."
