Mt Pancake, Movie Road, goodbye to SnowDude

Morning visit to Mt Pancake at Whitney Portal. Moose Tracks was there so we split a pancake, and got the toppings. Yum! Kicked back and chilled awhile. My plan was to get home early and spend time with SnowDude, but he still had a lot to do so he told me to take my time. I followed dirt roads on the Garmin GPS that SnowDude got me, and killed a few hours before heading home. We had a nice dinner, and I took Monday off to hang out with him on his last day in CA. He still had last minute things to take care of but I got to spend part of the day with him. He left for a 6 month assignment in Australia and returns December 23rd.
flowers along Horseshoe Meadow Road
Mt Pancake, we split it and still couldn't finish
took a hike outside and kicked back
Headed back, then got a message from SnowDude, don't hurry back, still have stuff to do
so I followed dirt roads on my new car GPS (it even has a BLUE truck with big wheels!)
More flowers
and a mine
got home to even more flowers, then went out for a nice dinner!
Spent some time with SnowDude on Monday, then took him to the airport.
