U2s "Joshua Tree" - Have you found what you're looking for?

U2s Fallen Joshua Tree

PHOTOS: http://snownymph.smugmug.com/gallery/47 ... 6971_cHt5W

I saw Steve Hall's report on U2s Fallen Joshua Tree from early March. Then I saw Quandary's photos from early April. Now I had “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for” going thru my head. So when I left after work, I had U2 playing on my iPod. I found a place to pull over and sleep. In the morning I drove to the site, and “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for” played. I started walking, and 2 minutes later two F-18s flew over me (really loud). Pretty cool! I stayed by "the fallen tree" for an hour, taking photos, looking thru the U2ube (register), watching lizards come up to the tree, just soaking it all in. What a cool spot!

MIT, good to see you back! :)

So glad someone else enjoys the snakes like I do. Most people don't like them. I just love the patterns on them. Calhiker had a few (not rattlers) that I was able to hold. Pretty awesome!

Maybe I'll see more this weekend! Off to the desert again!

I'll ditto the comments on the rattlers.... they're great! I think what I like most about them is watching how they move - it's amazing!

I really enjoy reading your (and everyone's) trip reports... I'm getting pretty tired of the view of the inside of the ballet center :( . I am definately looking forward to this summer!

Watching how they move, and holding them when they move is pretty awesome! (not rattlers)
