Wow! That was a good read. Amazing they found ID.. I don't think I'd be walking around there. Definitely a driven group.

Yep---only don't start reading unless you have a lot of free time ahead of you. You won't want to stop. Really great writing as well as a good story.

It's an astounding and gripping story, I found it last year and have read it twice since.

Equally fascinating reading about his search for a crash site of an A10 owned by CIA and ran out of fuel about 70 miles from his landing strip in Area 51. His "Honey, I sunk the truck" entry is hilarious.

I have personally noted over the years that there is definitely a German cultural impulse to travel to Death Valley, or even much more remote places, all over the world.
