Tour de Mont Blanc

Post by jorrflv »

My wife and I are thinking about doing the Tour. I have Kev Reynolds book.

Has any one on this forum done it?

Looking for logistics advise. Booking accommodations, food, gear needs, etc. I think we want to go light packs, skip the tent and stay in various huts and inns..

It will be a DIY not a guided trip. I don't have a lot of specifics yet just looking to talk to people who have done it.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org
