Another cross off my bucket list.

Postby dave54 » Thu Aug 25, 2016 7:05 pm

I just walked the entire length of a river, from origin to mouth.

It was the D River in Oregon, but hey -- a river is a river! (World's shortest river, approx 100 feet long)

It is high tide, so purists may balk. I am counting it as done.

Ha, interesting. I wonder at what point a river becomes simply an outlet, categorically speaking? But if it's in the Guinness Book of World Records, then that's good enough for me!

The locals claim it meets the hydrologic definition of river. I am not arguing. Since my goal was to travel the entire length of a river I am calling it good...
