High Sierra Topix

The 67-mile trail is finally complete. A great addition to trail hiking down here in SoCal. Would be amazing if one day it could be extended across 405 to meet Angeles Forest, but that is likely wishful thinking. They had to fight to get all properties to line up to link the trail and now that it is complete can turn their attention to sorting out/creating suitable thru-hiking campgrounds. There are simply not enough on the trail to make it feasible for those aren't ~20 mile/day thru-hikers.
