On Sunday Rachel & I met Norma & Snow Nymph to climb Towne Peak. orginally we were going to visit the Albatross wreckage also - but it was a bitter cold wind for the day so we decided a peak was enough for the day. It was so cold our water kept freezing up in our water bags. It was my first new peak for the year.

Hey Tom~
Thanx for the pix's. Great recovery on the photo when you tripped... You got yourself smiling. What a pro! How are the bruises?

Thanx for catching the real me being me! :retard:

By the way... I wasn't slurping... I'm a lady... "I was swallowing with passion!" Or somethin' like that. :drinkers:

thanks Norma

I was quite surprised when I found the photo to show me casually sitting like a planned shop - you never knew my middle name was Grace.

as far as "swallowing with passion" - I think I better leave that one as "no comment" at let the imagination run wild.

Tom, I got a 'different' shot of your graceful move. That's one way to get us to smile for the camera

Towne Peak (7,287')

PHOTOS: http://snownymph.smugmug.com/gallery/2362428

NormaR and I met Tomcat and Rachel at Towne Pass at 7am. It was 7 deg! After and hour we ran into friends of Randi & Lewis (didn't make it this weekend). Normally we don't see anyone on a desert peak. With our water frozen, we decided to skip the side trip to the SA-16 Albatross and save it for another trip. This hike was also 7 mi with 3,300' el gain/loss
