"I saw the submariners, the way they stood aloof and silent, watching their pigboat with loving eyes. They are alone in the Navy. I admired the PT boys. And I often wondered how the aviators had the courage to go out day after day and I forgave their boasting. But the submariners! In the entire fleet they stand apart!”

Wow, that is a great video, hopefully our Sierra bears don't see this. :D

Thanks for posting. In the days before canisters, I used to put my food on a sheer cliff or on top of a big sheer erratic and never lost anything. Good thing Sierra bears didn't try to climb like this. My wife, son, and I went down Santa Elena Canyon with her father in the 1990s. The only wildlife we saw besides lots of birds was a wild pig crossing the Rio Grande from one side of the border to another, prompting lots of illegal immigrant jokes.

Only wussys use chalk for free climbs!
Nice Russ. Next time I go to Big Bend I'll be a bit more aware of more than snakes!
